Adie Morton currently lives and works in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Georgia State University in May 2019, and plans to eventually pursue a MFA. She is also an RYT 200, and received her Trauma Informed training through Connection Coalition in 2018.

Her art focuses on trauma and healing through the lens of Zen Buddhism, based on the belief that suffering is an essential tool for growth and connection - when the correct resources are accessible to be able to move through those experiences. Her primary medium is oil paints, as they allow for a fluidity and density that she believes reflects the human experience. Her work talks about the effects of trauma on both the mind & the body, and her paintings tend to blur the line between the physical and the unconscious realms.
